The Sensodyne IDA Shining Star Scholarship Programme is a corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative launched by Haleon India, the makers of Sensodyne, in collaboration with Buddy4Study (B4S) and the Indian Dental Association (IDA). This program aims to provide financial support to exceptionally talented, disadvantaged students from all across India who are pursuing a four-year Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program at government or government-aided colleges. As part of Haleon India’s commitment to CSR, a total of 57 deserving students in their first year of BDS studies at government or government-funded colleges will be carefully chosen to receive scholarships.
The selection process involves a thorough evaluation conducted by IDA and B4S, and candidates must meet specific eligibility criteria. The selected students will be granted financial assistance amounting to INR 4,20,000 (INR 1,05,000 per year) for the duration of their four-year BDS program. This support is intended to help cover their academic expenses as well as living costs.
